A Day in the Life as a Construction Sales/Project Manager

As a member of the branch operations team, you will be responsible for assisting to fulfill the branch marketing goals and to achieve the sales goals.  In addition to marketing and sales, you will perform takeoffs (from blueprints and existing structures), develop estimates, write client proposals, administer contracts, develop project schedules and costing, supervise projects, and ensure quality control.  You will prepare customer billings and assist in collection efforts as necessary.   Ongoing business development with our customers -- architects, owners, engineers and general contractors is a vital part of this position.  

What you Need to be Qualified for this Job

To be qualified for this job, 3+ years' experience in Sales and/or Production is essential.  To be considered, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.  A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.  The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications will ensure success and customer satisfaction.  A thorough knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial.
